Miss Emma Garnham

Emma Louise is an emerging kiln-formed glass Artist who graduated July 2011, with a BA Honours in Glass and Ceramics from University of Sunderland. She has refined her practice to specialise in pate de verre kiln-formed glass and has just moved into a new studio in her home town of Ipswich.

Details about work or recent projects

My work explores textures and surfaces inspired by the those found in nature and the world around us. The use of drawing and light is integral in the work I create, using mark making to respond to the intriguing shadows created.
