Louis Thompson

Louis graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Ceramics and Glass in 2011. His professional career has spanned nearly 30 years and has afforded him the opportunity to work with a number of glass practitioners in the UK and abroad.

Details about work or recent projects

Louis has exhibited extensively internationally and has established a small studio in London. In 2012 he was awarded two prestigious art’s awards in the UK; Best in Show at the British Glass Biennale and the Jerwood Foundation Makers Commission.He has completed residencies in Belgium and the USA, and his is work is featured in museum collections in Germany, Japan and the USA. In 2016 Louis exhibited two large scale installations at Salisbury Cathedral.
