Sculptor and artist
Tony Roberts' artwork often incorporates glass, stained, cast, and laminated with other materials, typically steel and stone. His work is collected and shown internationally in both private and public installations. He works to commission, but also creates a body of original work which may be seen at his studios and gallery on the Welsh borders.
Details about work or recent projects
Currently working on large cast panels for the reception areas of a corporate client based in London, Zurich, Accra and other cities - and on a cast glass Mini-cooper! Recent glass artwork includes laminated stained glass windows, fused glass lightcatchers, vandal-proofed glass signage for a Liverpool park, and life-sized standing cast glass garden sculptures. I've also been experimenting with small works: medals and 2D work integrating glass and PET/vinyl plastics.
