Glass Artist
I am a glass artist based in Halifax, West Yorkshire and work with stained glass, fused glass and mosaics. I run courses from my workshop in Halifax to introduce you to the techniques required to produce your own work. All my courses are technical, hands-on, practical workshops with the aim of inspiring you to be excited and creative with the medium of glass. I also produce my own work with a preference for fused glass. I work with mainly float glass and use texture and frits to bring the glass alive.
Details about work or recent projects
I am the organiser of the CGS North Group. We meet up every couple of months at venues in the North of England. The group is aimed at people working with or interested in glass & provides a networking opportunity, a forum to share ideas & ask for advice as well as allowing for group visits to places of interest.
The group started in September 2011 and is open to CGS members & non-members. Previous meetings have taken place at the Walker Gallery, the Hepworth, Pearsons Glass & the British Craft Trade Fair 2012 and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
