Originally trained as a medical illustrator, Nancy is now a drill engraver specialising in figurative subjects. Work ranges in scale from small crystal blocks, vessels and sculptures to large wall mounted pieces, often incorporating gold leaf. Nancy is developing a unique individual style, and is interested in experimentation. She is an elected Fellow of the Guild of Glass Engravers.

Details about work or recent projects

Nancy has been experimenting with stop motion animation and produced a short engraved and gilded video (still in development). This accompanies the wall piece 'memory cloud', a large scale work is made from an assembly of small microscope slides, mounted and framed together. She is pursuing this contemporary approach to engraving using traditional skills and techniques.
