Sarah acquired the BA Contemporary Crafts degree at University College Falmouth 2008, where she learnt the techniques of Patte de Verre, lost wax casting and fusing. Prior to this, she attended Plymouth College to gain a 'City and Guilds Creative Skills Certificate' in decorative stained glass.

Sarah uses the techniques of Patte de Verre, lost wax casting and fusing, to produce work derived from her interest in life and death cycles, the seasons and natural plant and animal forms. She has a fascination with the sinister side of nature and predatory creatures.
