Glasstastik
Glass Artist
Annette's main inspiration is the glass itself, and its many different facets - reflection, transparency, shadow, opalescence, depth, colour. Its mobility when hot - its fragility when cold. Please look at the website www.glasstastik.co.uk, she employs most of the glass processes and has created a few ranges to provide a signature.
Details about work or recent projects
The pieces that seem to create the most interest are the lost wax cast skulls and the Fossil range. The skulls were selected for the International Imprint: Casting in Glass CGS exhibition. My latest range "Drops' will be exhibited at the BCTF at Harrogate 7 - 9 April 2013 stand 326.
