Kilned formed, slumped over hand made moulds incorporating photographic images

My photographic images are important to me as a way of capturing and keeping memories. They are the first tangible material along with the pebbles I collect from the seashore to be used as physical inspiration for my work in glass.

I currently live in the UK, studying at Canterbury Christ Church University. Primarily interested in kiln forming glass, I love to try unconventional methods and materials. I am fascinated with the different qualities of glass and the effect light has upon it. Commissions welcome.

hot shaped flaot glass

Born in Geneva (Switzerland). Work and live in Yverdon-les-Bains (Switzerland).
Studied in Sion (Switzerland) and Canberra (Australia).
Lately I devlopped stained glass without stained! A glass which suits to contemporary architecture.
"Sensitive transparency" which affects neither the transparency nor the amount of light.
The intention is to give it the power of « conversing » dynamically with its environment, by reacting to daily fluctuations and to individual translocation.
The simple act of creating some relief into that surface shapes the perception. It leads to a variation of the transmission of light, both by remodelling the view through optical effects - when looking from inside into the outside - and by distorting the reflection when looking from outside to the inside.
At night it’s the contrary!
