I make glass pieces for pleasure after attending an evening class when I retired. I started with foiling and leading, and then went on to learn painting and fusing. I trained in graphic design, and enjoy the challenge of turning a drawing into a cutline.
Yellow Dog Glass has a studio at The Walled Garden in Wrington, making commision pieces and teaching. I teach a range of classes at Warm Glass UK. We are also the designers of the Adjustabail wall art hanging system.
My work is deeply influenced by our human connection to the land. Living in the far north, I explore that which resonates with our soul. My delicate sculptures allow the viewer to draw asscociations with their own remembered landscapes, resulting in a medatative and emotional response. They become an interpretation of light and memory and a place for quiet contemplation.

Glass thrills me.Glass excites me.Glass is my drug! I have been working with glass since the early 1980's and love it now as much as I did then! I work in stained glass and incorporate fused glass in my work.
