The Fresh Air Glass Apprenticeship Scheme 2015

The Fresh Air Glass Apprenticeship Scheme 2015

Fresh Air – the biennial exhibition of the Quenington Sculpture Trust – promotes the exhibition of art glass and other contemporary sculpture in the landscape.

The trustees founded an apprenticeship scheme in order to give young graduate glassmakers, from the UK or Eire, the opportunity to work alongside well-known and established glass artists. The bursary is worth £10,000.

We are delighted to announce that award-winning glass artist, Colin Reid, has offered to take on the successful apprentice for Fresh Air 2015. The apprentice will be based at Colin’s Stroud studio from autumn 2014.

Colin’s studio is well equipped for kilncast glass and coldworking. The apprentice will help with all aspects of work in this busy studio and have studio time and materials for their own work.
