Telling Tails, an Exhibition of Glass by Jane Littlefield and Prints by Hester Cox

Jane’s new work is being shown for the first time at Rural Arts. The pieces consist of multi – layered, painted glass images, that create a 3 dimensional collage.

Hester's love of the natural world, poetry and folklore is often evident in her collagraph prints. Living in the countryside, she is surrounded by animals and birds and her encounters with them often trigger ideas. Certain creatures appear repeatedly in her printmaking and these will often have a rich folkloric significance which Hester will allude to either in the imagery or the choice of titles for her prints. "
