Modern information and communication technologies play a fundamental role in the activities of an organisation like CGS Contemporary Glass Society. This policy identifies what information we keep on you and how we use it.
When subscribing to, or registering for, any of our services, we require only the minimum information to identify who you are and to be able to contact you. Other information about you is optional. This information is stored on databases and security measures are used to keep your information confidential. Contact information is used by CGS staff to communicate with you about the service you have registered for, or subscribed to, and our other services.
By purchasing a subscription your details will be held on a database. As a subscriber you will be automatically contacted to let you know when your current subscription is about to expire and receive reminders should you forget to renew. You will also from time to time receive brief information about other CGS activities.
Subscribers providing an email address will automatically receive a regular e-bulletin.
Our database records are not passed onto anyone else.
