Members’ Spotlight

Alex R creates glass which is opulent and seductive. She specialises in contemporary glass panels, lightboxes and vessels made to commission for both public and private clients. From sumptuous fused glass bowls to large scale installations of glittering glass, intricate surfaces are the signature style of her work. Alex is currently working on a technique of edge-bonding to exploit the optical ambiguities which arise from the translucency of glass. She is also developing a range of glass vessels for retail.
