Glass Artist
Winner of the prestigious Stevens Competition 2012. Originally I studied painting but began working with glass about six years ago. In 2008 I completed the Post Grad Cert in Professional Studies in Glass at Central. I'm absorbed by rich imagery and organic forms, taking my inspiration from nature and the infinite patterns and structures that are contained within plant life.
Details about work or recent projects
I am concentrating on smaller experimental pieces that will work in a space without the need of back lighting. I'm interested in finding ways to make subtle layers of imagery, revealing themselves in different light conditions. I have recently been working on commissions and the Stevens Competition.
