Flame Worker
I am a full-time flameworker, working and teaching from my studio on the edge of the Peak District. I started as a glass bead maker, and now combine glass bead making with sculptural flamework. My inspiration comes from words, poetry, song lyrics - as well as my immedate surroundings, including both nature and family.
Details about work or recent projects
Since the beginning of 2012, I have been working on a three-year Arts Council-funded project called 'Follies for Follies', creating glass sculptures and installations for architectural and garden follies (www.folliesforfollies.com).
