Lisa Sheppy works with fused glass and enamel printmaking a form which she developed whilst studying for her MA in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at UWE, Bristol. Ideas for the work are based on garments from historical contexts and their significance as representation of women, society and confinement.

Details about work or recent projects

A previous project has been based on the garments once belonging to Charlotte Bronte. Currently she is making a series of new work which has gained it's inspiration from eighteenth century 'pockets' and the collection of identification 'tokens' from the London Foundling Hospital Museum
