I have a Bsc (hons), in textile design, experience in fashion, exhibition and knitwear design for international companies. A PGCE to teach art and design to disabled people and have trained in kiln formed glass at Sunderland University Glass Centre. This experience allows me to seamlessly combine high quality components with timeless sophistication to create opulent glass designs.I also create and produce public works of art, with minority groups.
I design vibrantly creative jewellery and glassware, that is hand made and exhibited in Great Britain. My quirky imagination can transform a walk into an exciting adventure, full of fun and design possibilities, which I use to inspire my work. I hope they convey my delight, enthusiasm and joy in expressing the world around me. I have also conceived, and managed two projects that I have recieved funding for. The last one was for the Yarm 1914 group to create glass poppies to commemorate WW1, funded by the Arts Council. I enabled the public, school children, prisoners and homeless addicts to be creative, in glass and metal.
