Lucy Prescott
Initially trained in Botanical illustration I have a love of organic shapes and designs. I started in stained glass in 1996 and then discovered fused glass in 2004. I love all colour and find glass a fascinating medium to explore this with.
I work from my studio in Hadlow, Kent and have workshops for beginners on a regular basis
I have made decorative garden pokers in the Summer for many years. Small sculptural pieces for inside and outside representing elements of the natural world. Fused-glass wall panels, painted or using layers of colour. Recently I have been painting on wood and incorporating elements of glass
I am involved in Southeast Open Studios in June and Christmas fairs around Kent
