Installations and Interventions

We invite you to submit work for an exhibition exploring how creative practice can transform, interrupt, or reimagine space. Installations and Interventions focus on works that shift the viewer’s experience—whether through immersive environments, spatial constructions, performative elements, or subtle acts that alter how a place is understood. We welcome large-scale works, site-responsive pieces and smaller objects that create dialogue through placement or disruption.

Title:Reimagine Space

Description: This temporary intervention places cast glass figures within the architectural recess surrounding photographer Alick Cotterill’s studio. The overlooked niche becomes a site of quiet occupation, shifting from absence to presence. Fragile glass forms contrast with stone, metal and concrete, introducing vulnerability into rigid structure and reframing the architecture and reimagining the space.

Description: 'Cling beautifully and bloom without needing to belong' is a 30*15cm glass mosaic exploring quiet resistance and self-definition. Title:Shadow Gate

Description: While drawing the shadow of a tree I got in a flow, that other state of being. I thought about the allegory of the cave of Plato. Can I take a look into the perfect world of the soul by drawing shadows? In Gothic churches, divine light was let in through stained glass windows and they colored the imperfect world. I have colored the light in my drawing with glass, as in a Gothic church.

Description: This piece focuses on the concept of glass as a guardian of memory, exploring the enduring connections we hold with those we’ve lost. When glass is in its molten state, textures impressed into its surface are permanently retained, holding a physical trace of that moment. Inspired by my research into stained glass windows I’m drawn to their storytelling and the way light brings them to life.
