Caroline Reed

I use a number of kiln-formed techniques as well as creating surface texture to blown glass. Much of my work is influenced by my surroundings, in particular the North Cornish coast. I am currently studying Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art (RCA).

My most recent work has focused on fusing powdered glass over sand to create delicate glass vessels. Towards the end of last year I designed a series of spice jars using a combination of blown, lathe cutting and casting techniques.
