Kay Ford

I am a mother of five and am currently in my third year of a BA Honours Designer Maker degree at The University Centre Hastings. I am creative, approachable and easy going and enjoy working in glass.

I am currently working on my final exhibition piece for my degree. My concept for this project is The Development in Medicine, and I will be working with inclusions in glass to demonstrate this. I also enjoy creating pieces in Pate de Verre, playing with form and colour. I love the strength and fragility that glass combines as well as the colours and the reactions you can achieve.
