Member’s Spotlight

Since completing her Bachelor of Education Degree; Art and Design in 1985, Helen has continued to follow her passion for creating and learning throughout her career. A home, family and career as a teacher and senior education adviser followed, though she has always maintained her love of all things creative, teaching and making for more than 35 years. Helen’s transition to becoming a full-time glass artists was a natural evolution, allowing her to combine her love of colour, pattern and form in a new medium. She exhibits work locally through galleries and open studio events and is looking to expand opportunities to exhibit across the Southwest and UK. As well as creating pieces for sale and exhibition, Helen is committed to providing creative, meaningful and exciting workshops and specialist art projects for individuals, schools and community groups and believes strongly in the power of art to boost emotional wellbeing.
