Luisa Carmen Martin Lopez
My journey with glass started in 2016 with a Stained Glass course in Adult Education. Since that moment I was fascinated by how I could develop my creativity playing with light and colours. Later on I became more interested in the fusing techniques and I enrolled in a Glass Jewelry course in Richmond Community College. I loved it, and, as my interest in the kiln formed techniques continued to grow, in 2021 I completed a BTEC Level 3 Arts and Design in Glass at Morley College. Presently, I continue developing my projects in both Colleges, where I enjoy learning and experimenting. New ideas lead me to different techniques, each of them captivating; they open innumerable possibilities to express myself and connect my work with the world that surrounds me, especially with nature, which remains the main source of my inspiration.
