Member’s Spotlight

Ana Laura is an Argentine interior designer and loves to materialize in glass the objects that she designs. Her favorite technique is pâte de verre since it inspires her to experiment a lot , and permites her to find non traditional versions. Nowadays she enjoys to work with the glass in movement. While the paste of glass is wet, she can handle, model or texture it until it dries. Then she continues working it., and goes to the kiln several times until the piece achieves the form she desires. The prefeared result is when the pieces are delicate, ethereal and you can even see through the paste of glass. she usually designs with round shapes and curving lines, that transports her to nature forms with its movements and containment feelings. Her work has been selected to be exhibited in Argentina and also internationally, in Japan, China, Italy, Bulgaria, United Kingdom, USA, Costa Rica, and won awards in Argentine and China.
