Deborah Sandersley

I spent over ten years working as a freelance portrait/reportage photographer before studying at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design where I graduated in Glass and Fine Art and Glass and Architecture. I undertake private commissions at my workshop in East London.

My work combines photography and glass, using montage, layering and lighting to produce the final pieces. The images are screen printed onto the glass which is then fired, etched and hand painted. Many works are based on photographs documenting significant change in East London over the past several years.
