What you will learn
Come and learn the traditional craft of Stained Glass and make your own panel from scratch on this one day course with glass artist Catherine Dunstan.

This is a hands-on course where you’ll be introduced to many processes, including glass cutting, leading, soldering, cementing and polishing your piece.

You’ll get to choose from a large range of templates that will enable you to get a good grounding in the core skills, whilst also enabling you to finish your piece during the day, ready to take home and show off! Learn about different types of glass and choose from a wide range of colours and textures to suit your style.

You will be able to take your panel away with you on the day.

Skill Level and Essential Information:
This one-day course is suitable for beginners
Please wear closed-toed shoes and tie back long hair. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, or bring an apron. Due to the use of lead, it is recommended that pregnant women do not attend. Soldering flux derived from animal fat is necessary on this course, so regrettably, the course is not vegan.

A 20cm x 15cm stained glass panel.

We cannot guarantee parking immediately outside the studio and rely on on-street parking on neighbouring roads. Therefore, a short five-minute walk is typically required. If this poses access issues, please get in touch with us before booking a class.

What to prepare
• Please wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
• If you are attending a One Day Course. Please bring a packed lunch. Alternatively, there are shops and a pub serving lunches within walking distance of the studio.
• All materials are included and all the necessary tools are provided.
• Your booking information will be emailed to you before the course date.
• This in-person course will have up to 4 students.
• We teach using Bullseye Glass (CoE90).
• Students must be over 16 years old.
