Sand casting in glass is a very creative and exciting experience. This glass casting day is suitable for both absolute first-timers and experienced artists. Each person will design and make three glass pieces during the day, which they can take away after a three-day cooling process in a kiln.

The morning is spent designing and creating sand moulds using forms, shapes and colours with the opportunity to add metals. After lunch, we use the alchemy of molten glass at 1150 degrees from the furnace.

The liquid glass is poured into the moulds to create amazing and unique glass artworks. Inclusions of colours and metals, leaves can be added between the layers. The resulting glass pieces are always amazing and surprising. This is a very rare opportunity to try an exciting and creative glass craft.
