On 9th October, The Biennale for Craft & Design will open at Glas — Museum of Glass Art in Ebeltoft, Denmark, presenting 26 newly produced masterpieces. At the same time, the Biennale celebrates its 30th anniversary.

A tribute to craftsmanship Danish craft and design is known for its quality, craftsmanship, sustainability, and unique products that stand in sharp contrast to mass production and today’s overconsumption. Material scarcity and
overconsumption call for objects of high aesthetic value and artistic precision. More than ever, there is reason to celebrate the craftsmanship that enriches our surroundings with well-crafted and long-lasting solutions. The 2025 Biennale anniversary year is the perfect opportunity to present works deeply rooted in materiality, design, and “super objects” that aim to care for a world under pressure.
