As an artist working in stained glass I aim to create works exploring the dynamic and expressive qualities of light and shade, texture and pattern.
My experience as a conservator has led me to the experimental use of paints and stains that enable me to make allusions to meteorological and geographical phenomena.
I have been working in the field of architectural glass since leaving the Royal College of Art, London, in 1985. I work to commission from my own studio in Wiltshire, but also work with manufacturers on large scale projects using glass, vinyl and acrylic. My specialism is in enamelling on flat glass panels.
