Member’s Spotlight

Helen Smith is a kiln-formed glass artist based on the Wirral peninsula. Her work combines glass powders, frits and sheet glass in tactile glass sculptures and panels strongly influenced by her coastal location. However, rather than depicting the landscape directly Helen focuses on the found textures and forms within the landscape which she uses to evoke a sense of place.
