I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (hons) degree in fine art and textile design from Leeds University in 1994. I have been teaching art for over 25 years and recently set up my own studio. I have a passion for colour, glass and all things pretty. I use my Yorkshire heritage as inspiration.
I have been using the Yorkshire landscape as inspiration for textured glass and stained glass landscapes for the last 5 years. From large 30 cm x 30 cm pieces to small 10 cm x 5 cm pieces which use layers of clear glass and coloured glass frits. Each piece is a `one off` and never replicated.
