Member’s Spotlight

My formative post graduation practice was public art based, using a broad range of materials including wood, polished concrete, metal, and textiles. My first glass work was commissioned in 2017 and kiln-formed glass is now the backbone of both my exhibition and commissioned work. Although self taught in glass, in 2019 I had the opportunity to spend time at Bullseye, Portland with the Australian glass artist Jessica Loughlin. Her generosity with both her technical knowledge and rigorous approach to mastering simplicity remain a daily touchstone.
