I entered the world of glass art after earning my Bachelor’s degree in ceramic art. Glass became the perfect material for me to express abstract ideas. For me, glass is a material that doesn’t tolerate lies—it’s transparent and honest, reflecting our relationship with ourselves and with the world around us. During my studies at the Stroganov Academy, in the Department of Art Glass, I learned different techniques of working with glass. After two years, I successfully defended my Master’s thesis, which focused on the study of contemporary glass sculpture from the 20th and 21st centuries. In my research, I analyzed glass sculptures by artists from all around the world. I’m interested in an analytical approach to art and in studying systems of images and narrative structures. This helps me understand both my own work and the works of others more deeply. At the moment, I can’t say which technique I prefer to use, since my choice depends on the specific project and the available technical conditions. I’m open to experiments and new creative challenges.

Since my first material was ceramics, I’m looking for ways to combine glass and ceramics in my work. I want each material to express itself while keeping its own unique qualities. Right now, I’m doing a lot of sketching and designing. I believe this approach helps me create higher quality work and use materials more efficiently. I find inspiration in literature, nature, architecture and music. I’m always open to new ideas and experimenting with different ways of working. I hope to take part in exhibitions and creative collaborations in the future
