international glass artist and jewellery designer. Her technique of choice is Lampworking. Lampworking has become a generational passion. She was taught to work with the open flame by her mother, Elena Hernburg, an internationally renowned artist, and a master lampworker herself. Finding the work both fascinating and enchanting, Olga went for study to the Island of Murano in Venice, Italy – home of the master glass artists. The ancient Venetian method of blowing glass allowed her to transform the creations, manipulating the material into the shape and achieve beautiful colours to craft and produce modern forms.
