Silvia Monge
I am a Costa Rican artist working across multiple media, though glass has always been the material that most deeply captivates me for its transparency, its transformative nature, and its intimate relationship with light.
My practice has focused primarily on glass fusion, exploring processes in which light becomes an essential element of work.
Throughout my career, I have participated in national and international exhibitions, and my work is part of architectural spaces and collections, including hotels, offices, and other public and private buildings where glass engages in a dialogue with space and natural light.
