Pete Fricker

A founder member of Stourbridge Glassblowing Studio, Ruskin Glass Centre, Amblecote in 2010. He studied at the International Glass Centre in Brierley Hill from 2007 to 2009. He enjoys the challenge and immediacy of hot glass and continues to develop his work in the Studio. He lives in Shrewsbury.

Colour has been the main feature of his glass, with added trails and shards; a fusion of blown glass inspired by nature, the built environment and abstract art. In 2015 he was selected for inclusion in the ‘Ripples’ exhibition at the Pyramid Gallery in York.
