Member’s Spotlight

My work explores the intersection of nature, geometry, and symbolism through the medium of stained glass and three-dimensional functional glass forms. Inspired by the beauty and importance of pollinating insects, plants, and natural patterns, I use traditional stained-glass techniques, and more modern techniques such as screen printing and glass powder printing, combined, to create modern pieces. Each piece begins with a reverence for the natural world—often repeated or mirrored to suggest balance, harmony, and interconnection. Organic forms are framed within geometric structures, to evoke sacred geometry and the quiet order found in nature’s design. My three-dimensional works incorporate living plants, transforming glass vessels into miniature biospheres suspended in space. In line with my desire to be more sustainable, each frame, border, and stand is crafted from salvaged wood. By integrating reclaimed wood into my work, It offers discarded materials a new life and narrative.
