Michelle Dowle
I am a self-taught glass artist working from my studio in the New Forest for over 10 years. My background is in chemistry and law but my journey with this captivating medium began during a visit to Cornwall. I have been inspired by fellow artists and have improved my art by attending a range of master classes, My designs often capture the changing colours and textures of the New Forest, the shimmering reflections of the water and sea of Cornwall as well as abstract interpretations of nature.
Most of my current work is based on bringing the forest and sea to life with colour and texture. I also love capturing moments in glass and have undertaken commission portraits and memories in glass. Its a continuous learning experience which I love.
