Michèle Oberdieck

Born in Canada, Michèle Oberdieck first trained as a textile designer at Glasgow School of Art. Throughout her practice she experimented fusing textiles in float glass creating architectural glass panels. In 2016 she changed direction following an MA at the Royal College of Art and now works primarily with blown glass, focussing on Graal. Colour has always been a driving force for her work, with sources of inspiration coming from the natural world and abstract expressionist paintings. She lives and works in London.
