Recent exhibitions include ‘A Thread of Light’, Taipei, Taiwan and Shanghai, China, ‘European Prize for Applied Arts’, Belgium and Ireland, and ‘Reflection’ at Salisbury Cathedral, UK.

His most recent commission was a large collaborative sculpture with Sally Fawkes for SAGA Cruises, first new build state of the art ship ‘Spirit of Discovery’.
A commission for one of his highly sought after sculptures from his ‘From Past Memory’ series can be seen in The Shard, London.

Currently, my glass explores ‘Ways of Seeing’, creating handblown glass optic lenses that challenge perspective and ways of encountering the world. The results were showcased in Radical Responses as part of IASDR (International Association of Societies of Design Research) (2019) and feature in Virtual Milan Design Festival 2020. Helen’s work is generally undertaken to commission, inspired by the client, the brief and the building, whether housed in historic or modern buildings, in ecclesiastical or secular contexts. Her aim is to engage the viewer through good design and craftsmanship, creating energy and movement intertwining contemporary and traditional elements.

Helen’s recent works include new windows for the RAF Club, London, and The Queen’s Window designed by David Hockney for Westminster Abbey.

I have mostly been demonstrating around the country, taking my work out to display and sell at major craft, art and country fairs. My most recent work has been developing different stemware and interior ranges at E&M glass.

We have built up our contemporary glass collection by David swapping work with other international artists and buying smaller pieces from exhibitions.
We also have an extensive 20th century British made glass collection, including Stewart’s Webb’s and Monart glass.
