My influences are patterns in nature, wildlife and sustainability. I am drawn to
conservation issues and the conflicts they create. Recently I have been casting ammonites and reef structures and my panels have depicted the woodlands where I live.
On the drawing board are designs referring to the decline in elephant populations which I hope to start later this year.

Jackson, George

The majority of my work revolves around the use of recyled glass as a creative medium. Here I can explore the earthy and opaque elements of glass which are often ignored.

Mackintosh,Emma

Working from the heart of the English Lake District, my work is strongly influenced by my surroundings. I work with borosilicate glass, blowing and sculpting it to form a range of gifts, homewares and lighting.

My range of artisan glass lighting and chandeliers shows the detail achievable with flameworking but allows individual components to be added together to make a larger, showstopping article.
