Peter has worked with glass since 01/63 when he began working as an apprentice at Caithness Glass. Peter learned the fundamentals of glassmaking but truly learned the trade from Paul Ysart when Peter assisted PY on Sundays which was the time PY had allocated for paperweight making. Peter is considered the grandfather of the modern abstract paperweight and continues to innovate and chase his curiosity to wherever it leads him.

Peter has begun to work with glowing powders to add another dimension to his traditional and modern designs.
