I oscillate between glass flameworking & pâte-de-verre glass fusing techniques and combining them using various mold making and hot assemblage processes to create ornaments, sculpture and jewellery.
Both processes are labour intensive and have allowed me to develop a very tactile and sensory relationship with the glass, as I hold and manipulate it directly. By honoring traditional & pushing conventions. My hope is to present glass as something versatile & resilient.
