Samantha Yates

Samantha Yates is a Yorkshire based stained glass artist who uses the name Lil' Rabbitfoot. Her copper foil work is botanically inspired, her appreciation of the simple beauty of nature and the happiness it can bring, she taught Horticulture for 15 years and believes we are genetically programmed to connect to plants. At presnt she is an MA student at the University of York studying Stained Glass Conservation and Heritage Management.

My work at present is focused on the concept that we are so genetically programmed to connect with nature that we experience satisfaction when we strip the seeds from a stem of grass. Recent exhibitions include
