Inspired by nature, oceans and polar wilderness and the sheer raw beauty and amazing life they contain. I prefer weighty pieces and encapsulate vivid colours in clear for the refraction and magnification. I love working honey like liquid glass at 1100ºC with my hands to create pieces that inspire me. A hot glass artist following my passion where my first hands on experience of hot glass mesmerised me and I've been hooked ever since. I am taught through hiring studios and one-to-one tuition from experts as well as attending courses and masterclasses. My life as a glass artist follows a 30+ year career running a packaging consultancy designing, developing and project managing packaging projects and packaging departments for some of the world's biggest consumer product brands – some of it included glass!
