My current practice involves the use of techniques of stained glass, glass blowing and cold working. Part of my inspiration comes from the working process with material that allows me to embody my ideas through layers, color and light. I am drawn to the qualities of glass as a medium that offers me an almost unlimited number of ways to express myself as an artist. It can be shaped both hot and cold using a wide range of traditional and experimental methods.
My work is strongly influenced by nature and the various cultures I have been fortunate enough to immerse myself in. I am interested in how our experiences shape our personality and make us unique.

My training in tissue and sub-cellular morphologies provides an endless source of inspiration. My work focuses on pathology and aims to convey aspects of the detailed infrastructure of our bodies, the dialogue we have with nature, as well as the sinister beauty of detrimental transformations.
I first learnd kilnglass in the UK almost twenty years ago. Since 2001 I live and work in Switzerland and have specialised in glass casting.
