I enjoy merging my fusing, etching and glass painting skills in creating unique works. Equally I feel at home with the traditional skills required in repairing and conserving stained glass windows. Each type of project, whether working to a commissioned design or requiring original input is an exciting challenge.

I recently took part in an Open Studios event, which had to be virtual so I have developed a youtube channel – Cracking Glass. Of the several films, this one shows a variety of pieces installed in my house
https://youtu.be/dS0hIveJd74 ,and others show work in progress. I particularly love working with lead , creating the individual design required to fit a specific location and the style and taste of the customer.

I am creating pictures of seascapes from glass and have recently finished a series of pictures of the South Hams.

I use a variety of kiln forming techniques – combining surface texture, pattern and colour within my designs to generate striking glass panels and art pieces which transform with the light throughout the day.

I enjoy working to commission, creating beautiful bespoke pieces for clients.

I am proud to announce that I have recently been awarded the Stone International Art Prize 2019, and was a finalist in the 2018 London Contemporary Art Prize for my unique Sculpted Glass Panels.
