Kinley Susan

My kilnformed glass wall panels and installations respond to my ongoing exploration of ancient archaeological sites at the edges of Britain, Scotland and Ireland. Waterjet cut piercings in Bullseye glass echo the mapping of land contours and micro lichens on rock surfaces.
A large installation in 25 individual sections, West South West, featured in Collect Open 2019 at the Saatchi Gallery.
I will be exhibiting a new series of fused glass with inlaid enameled copper panels at Collect 2024 at Somerset House, London, from 1st – 3rd March 2024. These works are influenced by aerial photography of ancient sites, where the marks and traces of cairns, barrows, circles and henges emerge in certain lights at different times of the year.

Haddow, Haley

I am an artist and designer who creates innovative contemporary kiln-formed art for galleries and private commissions. My work showcases an exploration of strong geometric influence in the form of sharp simplistic lines, married with bespoke engraved intricate graphic patterns, using a variety of specialised techniques.

The Glass Hub

The Glass Hub is a glass school aimed at providing courses which develop and foster glass skills, run by KT Yun and Helga Watkins-Baker. They both have many years of teaching practice, KT worked with glassblower Sonja Klingler and more recently developed Minimelt glass, mini furnaces and studio equipment for small scale and domestic glass blowing. Helga wrote ‘Kiln Forming Glass’, a comprehensive guide to warm glass processes and glass casting, and was Chairperson of the CGS from 2004-8. They brought their skills and experience together to create The Glass Hub, a glass school which is focused on creativity and expertise, dedicated to keeping glass skills alive.

Vessel Gallery

Vessel also consults for interior and corporate projects, providing the opportunity to have a truly bespoke commissioning service with unique works created in dialogue with the client. In addition the gallery is a valuable resource for artists, museums and collectors. Numerous artworks have entered prestigious public collections as a direct result of the Gallery’s exhibitions and advocacy

Bamforth, Vic

Combining hand glassblowing and hand painting (high firing enamels) skills to create one-off pieces of art glass. Private commissions are what interest me as I am quite fond of telling a story that is capable of capturing memories and moments in time. Functional/sculptural, figurative/representational/abstract – more often than not infused with elements of humour.

Funnell, Irene

Fusing is my main focus, recently combined with more inventive ways of slumping to give flat glass a more three dimensional aspect. I’m also enjoying experimenting with frit designs so that I can work with thinner glass and create more delicate objects.

Emma White, Irregular Glass

I create abstract glass art both 2D and 3D. I love to use colours, plus other materials within my glass work, to obtain both expected and unexpected reactions. My pieces are often meditative. In 2019 I began exploring organic substances within my glass work. Which has led onto the creation of my glass fossils collection. Exhibited at Glashaus II at Parndon mills in 2023. My thirteenth cosmos installation also recently arrived back from Belgium. Where it had been exhibited in The Enchanted Garden. I am part of the workinglass collective and that has been quite an adventure. I am also currently working with Open ArtBox CIC delivering glass workshops to individuals with early onset dementia and their carers. Whilst also being a part of the art of grieving community of artists. Which have just had another successful exhibition at the Salvation Army International headquarters in London. I also exhibit with Artsproject London at St Pancras hospital regulary.
